This page provides the instructions for the submission of accepted papers for inclusiong into IEEE IECON 2018. In addition to the information posted at "For Authors" page, please read carefully the following instructions before submitting final version of your paper.

In order for the accepted paper to be submitted for inclusion into the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, all of the following three requirements must be satisfied:

1. Appropriate publication materials (final paper and transfer of copyright to IEEE) have been submitted.
2. At least one full registration has been paid by Sep. 7, 2018
3. The paper has been presented at the conference.

Authors who are unable to attend or present their work must pay attention to the special instructions in 3.A or 3.B below.

1. Appropriate publication materials submitted

In addition to the information posted at "For Authors" page:

The author must submit the final version of the manuscript(s) and sign online the "IEEE Copyright Form" before the final submission deadline (done through IES Submit system, link below).

Please note that after final submission, you may also be contacted through IES PCT system in case of any IEEE related incompatibilites are detected.

Copyright Information

As stated in "For Authors" page, submitted papers will be screened for originality using CrossCheck against more than 20 million articles in databases worldwide. Papers that violate IEEE's publication principles may be rejected.

The copyright clearance code is automatically inserted by IES Submit system

2. At least one full registration paid

Each paper must be accompanied by at least one full author registration fee by Sep. 7, 2018. Reduced registration fees (e.g. student registration, etc.) will not be accepted for publication.

3. Presenting a Paper

3.A. By an author: ideally, the primary author or one of the co-authors will attend the conference and present their contribution. This is the classical way of participating in conferences, and authors gain the greatest professional benefits.
3.B. By a colleague: If the primary author or any of the co-authors cannot attend, then a qualified colleague may present the paper. A qualified colleague is one who is familiar with the technical field, and is capable of discussing the issues. The primary author or co-authors would miss the technical interaction, but fulfill professional obligations. NOTE: Full registration must be paid even if the qualified colleague is an author of another (different) paper in the conference.
Papers that do not meet one of these requirements (3.A or 3.B) will be noted as "No Show" and will not be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. These cases do not qualify for registration refund.
Note: "No Show" papers will NOT be submitted for inclusiong in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. As "No Show papers are copyrighted, these papers cannot be re-published without permission from the IEEE.

According to the above policy, IECON 2018 will publish and distribute at the Conference a Proceedings with copyrighted content.

Note: There is no predefined powerpoint template for presentation.
